The Team
Thomas L. Alcorn, M.S., P.E.,
PTOE

Tom
has led Alcorn & Associates for nearly 25 years. He has over
40 years of progressive experience in accident investigation
and reconstruction, highway and transportation engineering,
highway safety and has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Civil
Engineering.
In addition to his 25 years in his own business, he has worked
for the National Transportation Safety Board as a principle
investigator of catastrophic highway accidents and with the
United States Department of Transportation as a traffic and
safety engineer. He has extensive trial experience having
testified in hundreds of civil and criminal accident cases for
both plaintiffs and defendants.

Carla J. Werder, P.E.

Carla
Werder is a forensic engineer with Alcorn & Associates and has
been with the firm since 1992. She is a licensed
professional engineer and has extensive experience in accident
investigation and reconstruction. Carla holds a Bachelor of
Science in Mechanical Engineering. She has over
500 hours of advanced formal training in the areas of accident
investigation and reconstruction and is ACTAR certified.
